I always consider myself a socialist; not a Feminist and This idea is not approved by many "so-called" feminists ... However I have my reasons ... as in my idea, socialism is truley based on equality of race, gender and ...and it covers more ground (and including) what is covered in Feminism

I have known feminists who are so very radical in their ideas regarding gender equality; and yes they are not Social/traditional conservative ... though politically in many cases they are influenced by one of various bugs of conservatism, which I totally dislike, and that makes me stay away from them ..

The disease has so many sub-diseases ... and knowing it is essential in staying away from it ... its good to know the definition of Limited government conservatism, Additionalist conservatism , Noe-conservatism, Libertarian conservatism, Fiscal conservatism, ... and see which one sounds dear!! However I don't see enough knowledge in so many people about the extent of this disease!!!

The problem is there even when feminists are not conservative supporters, so many of them generally look up to liberalism with its foundation in Capitalism as the ultimate freedom, and yet again, I can not stay in line with them ...as past some general agreements, the important differences in looking at human, equality and justice starts to bug me ...

The best examples for me are "Simone De Beauvoir" whom I dearly love, and "Oriana Fallaci" whom I dislike strongly ...

This is a dilemma for me .. has been for so many years.

This might be beyond me. But, I don’t see the dilemma! You appear to be normal! De Beauvoir is the reference, the guide, the lead, the theory. Fallaci is the image in the news, the best seller, and the adventurist. It's not hard to believe that one would love Simone and not even like Oriana. To me, there is a difference between a theorist and a journalist, no matter how great either one could be. One leaves a legacy, marks the untraveled path with a footprint carved on the stone, whether someone notices or not, and one passes with a lot of dust raising attentions, but, not leaving that much beyond current events of the past.
